The Turin Giants Appoint Previous Italian National Team Head Coach the Experienced Gaffer
Juventus have chosen former Italian national team boss Spalletti to lead the team until the end of the season.
The 66-year-old replaces Igor Tudor, who was dismissed after the Serie A side's defeat by Lazio last weekend.
Tudor had joined the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but exited following a seven-month stint after an eight-game winless streak.
Spalletti guided Napoli to the Serie A crown in 2022-23 prior to assuming the Italy role, after the team's failure to reach the 2022 World Cup under former boss Roberto Mancini.
Under his guidance, they made it to Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.
Nonetheless, Italy dismissed Spalletti in June after a World Cup qualifying defeat by Norway, as Italy faced the possibility of not making a third World Cup in a row.
Spalletti has also managed Inter Milan, Roma and Udinese in Serie A and lifted the Russian league trophy twice while at Zenit St Petersburg.
Massimo Brambilla took interim charge of Juventus in the midweek 3-1 triumph over Udinese placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - six points behind leaders Napoli after nine games.
Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, with one loss and two draws in their first three games.
